Our world class data centers are located strategically around the globe to offer the best possible streaming performance to end users. We use only the best networking and server hardware from our partners Cisco, Foundry Networks, and Dell. Our primary data center partner is Equinix, whose data centers are the benchmark by which others are measured. Our network is multi-homed using tier-1 network providers and performance is enhanced through our many peering relationships.

If you require a completely redundant live stream, we accommodate your needs utilizing our data centers strategically placed around the world. To further ensure the broadcast on your end is not interrupted, we highly suggest utilizing two separate broadcasting computers and connections. The above illustrations depicts the video feed being split and broadcast from two separate PCs running the Flash Media Encoder software. Each PC broadcasts out through separate internet connections to separate StreamAPI data centers (one located on the west coast of the US and one located on the east coast). One broadcast is designated the primary, and the other as the secondary. End users will normally watch the primary feed and fail over to the second feed automatically if the primary should fail.
